The following opportunities are open and we need your help to fill them:
5th grade Activities Committee Chair: Melissa Jones
Subcommittee Descriptions
DVD/Memory Book Collect pictures/video from the parents and staff taken during activities throughout the school year to be compiled into a DVD and Memory Book as a gift for the students. Designate a point person to be at each of the events to take pictures/video. Give all footage to DVD/Tech/Distribution Subcommittee in order to create and process the Memory DVD.
DVD/Tech/Distribution Take material provided by DVD/Memory Book Subcommittee and create and distribute the video to the 5th grade students.
T-Shirts Design, order, and distribute a specially made T-shirt for the 5th graders
Recognition Create, print, and distribute a certificate recognizing each of the 5th grade students for their grade school achievements
End of Year Picnic Plan and implement a celebration for the 5th grade students/staff normally held at the JCCA from 10-2. (cook-out, ice cream, games etc.)
Teacher Appreciation Gifts Assist the students in recognizing their teachers for all their support typically by giving the teachers a token of appreciation.
Parent/Guardian Recognition (new for 2010-2011) Assist the students in expressing their appreciation for their Parents/Guardian/Grandparent who loved and supported them throughout school by giving the Parent/Guardian a token of appreciation.
